Otherness started life as a remix of Otherworld by Chilled by Nature (Pete Lawrence of Big Chill fame) and turned into a brand new work of art.
Taking the beautiful tones of the legendary Swingle Singers featured in the original track, Black Mustang created a haunting, oh so deep concoction of arpeggiated synth and chiming guitar that sends silver shivers down your spine.
Windsurf (aka Sorcerer and Hatchback) then drenched the track in West Coast sunshine and heavenly reverb to create the perfect summer track. Windsurf are currently signed to Prins Thomas’ Internasjonal label and have recently remixed LCD Soundsystem for DFA.
Black Mustang’s ‘Mad As Hell’ collaboration with Kerrier District was one of the standout tracks on last years Lo Recordings ‘Milky Disco’ compilation.
