If you’re into energetic Rock’n’Roll from the land of Jesus,
Moses and Gene Simmons - look no further. It’s as if The Rolling
Stones, PJ Harvey, Television, The Undertones and The
Pretenders all had sex and THE GIRLS are their love child.
At times melodic, at times fast and loud, but always sure to
kick an ass or two, THE GIRLS are soon to become your favorite
new band. With eclectic references to Punk, New Wave,
Metal, ‘60s Garage and ‘70s Hard Rock, THE GIRLS feel like a
breath of fresh air as apposed to other bands, that suck.
LOAF will be releasing an EP by the band which includes two
original songs; the energetic “Rush” and the prog-rock masterpiece
“The Girl from Yesterday”. The EP also includes two
remixes by two of the LOAF’s favorite remixers; Vincent Oliver
with a petite tribute to Robert Fripp and Kid Twist’s vigorous
beat down the up set mix.
