‘Curlews’ started life as an arrangement for a Grasscut performance with Kronos Quartet in Poland before being developed into the stunning, evocative nugget it now is. Alongside Curlews comes ‘September’s Night Sky’, a story of a spring equinox in the Southern Hemisphere, scored by fragmented keyboards, guitars and sweeping strings.
