Human Pyramids is an 18-piece post-rock acoustic orchestra from the incredibly creative and prolific mind of Scottish composer and producer Paul Russel. This is Paul at his best, with his producer hat on creating effortlessly charming and heart-warming sounds based around samples from Simon Dobson's first single from his album 'MDCNL'.

Of the track, Human Pyramids' Paul Russel told us exclusively:
“My first time hearing “Quiet, please” was like a spa trip for my ears. For the remix, I knew I wanted to maintain that warm, fuzzy feeling. I looped the piece for hours experimenting with new textures; xylophones, guitars and steel pans. Finally, I used granular synthesis to transform these new elements into a shimmering sonic bath.”

‘MDCNL’ was self produced by Cornwall based, award-winning composer, conductor, producer and multi-instrumentalist, Simon Dobson and is a follow-up to his 2015 debut 'Euneirophrenia'. Released on CD and available digitally, the new collection features five brand new haunting, modern classical compositions including the lead single ‘Quiet, Pls’ and this gorgeous companion piece.
